Mr.R.Munirathram is a graduate in Commerce and General Law and Post Graduate in Political Science. He is a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India.
Mr.Munirathnam joined in the Life Insurance Industry (LIC of India) in the year 1970. He worked for 36 years in different capacities in 3 zones and finally retired from Hyderabad as Regional Manager (Personnel and Industrial Relations) (Zonal Manager) on 30.06.2006. Mr.Munirathnam has created many records as Marketing Manager, Divisional Manager, Senior Divisional Manager and Regional Manager (P&IR) (ZM).
Visakhapatnam division witnessed excellent results in claims operations, Karimnagar division achieved the Budget in all 3 counts and by all the Branches, and Bangalore-I Division stood No.1 in the Country from the earlier 100th position. Again Bangalore-I division stood No.1 in the Country in sale of Bima Plus Product (ULIP). During his tenure, Bangalore-I division achieved the distinction of finalizing Mega Group Insurance Scheme for Infosys. While he was in-charge, Karimnagar, Bangalore-I and Cuddapah divisions attained the status of Audit Free Divisions.
Mr.Munirathnam was a visiting faculty at IIM (Lucknow), when he was working as Regional Manager (P & IR) at Kanpur. For the first time in LIC of India, South Central Zone, Hyderabad bagged the prestigious “Raja Bhasha Shield” for the year 2005-06 from the Home Ministry, Central Government of India, during the period in which Mr.Munirathnam was Regional Manager (P & IR), South Central Zone, Hyderabad.
Mr.Munirathnam has attended several Management Training Programmes in India, including ISB, Hyderabad. He has also attended an International Training Programme of FALIA, Tokyo (Japan).
